Heartfelt condolences to the entire Rempel family. Vivian was a wonderful aunt and a loving sister to our mother, Arlis. She will be sorely missed as I treasured every minute of every visit with her. As I was trying to decide my college and career pathway, Viv’s and George’s successful careers in K-12 education and their advanced degrees were very impactful on my decision to also go into teaching. She had a positive impact and influence on so many people, more than she would ever know. -Tom Rolfes & Family

Vivian is now with George and watching over all of you down here. She had a long life and as a teacher touched many lives. Prayers for family.

We are sorry to hear of aunt Viv’s passing. She was a wonderful aunt, animated and inquiring of our lives. As children she perpetually wanted a hug and a smooch from us. And our role was to play hard to get. We enjoyed her piano playing at grandpa’s house, as we were not so musically inclined. Often she was just bigger than life when she came to our little town of Sutton. Our thoughts are with our cousins in this time of grief.

Viv was kind of sneaky. No nephew or niece could refuse giving her one smooch on one cheek. The moment you did, she would humorously tilt her head heavy to the kissed side, and exclaim that she needed a second smooch to balance it out or she would stay that way all day. I don't know how many times I fell for that.

So sorry for the passing of Viv. She was such a sweet great aunt and a wonderful person. Some of my favorite childhood memories were the times I got to spend with her and George. She will be forever missed but will be happily reunited with George in heaven.

We are so sorry to hear of Vivian's passing. She was such a great neighbor to our family for many, many years. She and George
were so helpful and kind. We always enjoyed sitting outside our homes on the 4th of July and watching the fireworks with Vivian and George. Vivian had so many interesting stories to share over the years. Our sincerest condolences. We have such wonderful memories of growing up with George and Vivian.
