It's hard for me to believe that Patrick is gone. My sincere condolences to Sandra and his siblings. It's been many years, but I remember Patrick's sense of humor, and his shining personality.

Met Patrick last year at hall of fame. On first day we sat with him. Padre and Tiger fan eye-to-eye and he was a blast and a pleasure to be with the rest of the time. We spent all our HOF time as a close group of 5 during that trip plus we all kept in contact through the baseball season. I went to Colorado last week and did not get a response. Sad to see that he was gone. Wish we had meet sooner in life. He was a lobster eating machine and for one weekend Patrick was one of my best friends in the. World. RIP and go Tigers.

Patrick was a batboy or for the Albuquerque Dodgers. He earned this by w inning a writing contest 'What baseball means to me'. He never missed a game. He went on a road trip with them to Amarillo. He met Earnest Borgnine and several other baseball related celebrities.
This is my good memory of my brother Patrick because I got to go to every one of those games with him.
I love you forever, Susie

My brother! Of all the stories that have come up about you in the last few days, my favorite has to be you traveling to Cooperstown, NY for the Baseball Hall of Fame induction and meeting Willie Horton. As you tell it, after a long wait in line it was finally your turn! As you approached him and shook his hand you were barely able to croak out, "Such a huge fan this is such an honor...." and then you broke down into such tears you were unable to speak to him. You were so overwhelmed by how strongly you felt for him and the rush of your childhood memories your words left. That is how we feel today. We love you beyond words and we know you made it to The Good Place, whatever that meant to you. So much love, Kathleen, Michael and Mary Desmond
