HELLO, I INTERVIEWED KEITH FOR THE FRCC NEWSLETTER CALLED "THE BEE LINE" A FEW YEARS AGO. IT WAS A DELIGHTFUL INTERVIEW. I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE IT WITH YOU. HE WAS A LOVELY PERSON AND FINE MAN. WITH DEEP RESPECT, JENNIFER EISENLAU, FRCC BOULDER COUNTY CAMPUS

Keith Boggs, BUSINESS
Years teaching at FRCC: 18

Question: What was the most unusual job you held outside of academia?
Answer: "I was a baloney slicer at the USave in Sterling, Colorado. I was 16 and worked part-time. It was an easy job: I took 3-4 logs of baloney and sliced them, packaged them, and then displayed them. From time to time, in my current job, there are moments even now feel I am still packaging baloney"

Keith, what's a good symbol to represent You?
"A question mark. There are a lot of questions, more questions than answers I think. You could say the more we know, the more we know we don’t know."

A fun fact about Keith: “I worked in the Climax Molybdenum Mine near Leadville, Colorado. I went down a few hundred feet every day and ran the mucker. I would scoop out blasted ore. It paid well, but was almost as mindless as slicing baloney.
