Bernard Ira Rogers “Bernie”
April 10, 1941 - November 27, 2019

Bernie was born to Ira Rogers and Violet Rogers (Bricker) on April 10, 1941 in Imperial, Nebraska. He moved to Longmont, Colorado in the early 1950's from Rexford, Kansas. Bernie went to Longmont High and graduated in the Class of '59. He married Sharon L. Morison of Longmont on September 5,1965. Bernie was in the Colorado Army National Guard (Longmont) as a Mess Sargent in the 1960's for 6 years. He worked at Pizza Hut as an area supervisor, was a manager of Sambos, and also the owner of Bernie’s Cafe and B.C.J. Auto Upholstery in Longmont.

Bernie is survived by his former wife Sharon Rogers, his sons Chad and Jason Rogers. grandchildren Zakkary (Alison) Rogers, Keileigh (Nick) McHale, and Christina Rogers (Bobby Chapman). Great-grandchildren Sophia and Willow Chapman, Damieon Knezha, Ryleigh and Ryan McHale. Bernie is proceeded in death by parents Ira and Violet Rogers, along with brothers Jerry and David Rogers. His hobbies included spending time with his family. Bernie will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He always had that spunk to him to brighten anyone's day.
