Jane and her husband were married on March 25, 1960 in Denver. After marrying they moved to Longmont where John practiced law and became a judge.
They welcomed their only child, Benjamin Evans Miller II in 1968. Jane and her husband were very active in Longmont volunteering for the Republican Party, the United Way, Pumpkin Pie days AND building Hilltop Homes. Jane and John were divorced in 1983.
Jane was self-sufficient and had several jobs where she used her talents as a writer. One she was most proud of was working in Contract Administration at Johnson Engineering. The company was involved in the aerospace program.
Jane was an artist and a writer and a collector of beautiful things. She enjoyed eating out and met many Longmont residents at Aunt Alice’s, Perkins, and Goodfellows.
